Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Office Receptionist
This is not just a front desk role. This is the role that helps patients move from interest to action.
At B3 Physical Therapy, the first contact a patient has with us is you. Whether someone calls with questions, fills out an online form, or stops by to learn more, you help them take the next step by booking their evaluation and guiding them through the process with confidence.
We are looking for someone who enjoys speaking with people, feels confident calling leads, following up, and converting inquiries into scheduled appointments, and understands how important patient retention is to successful care.
What You Will Do
Lead Conversion and Scheduling
- Convert new patient inquiries and referrals into scheduled evaluations
- Make timely follow-up calls, emails, and reminders to support plan of care completion
- Respond quickly and professionally to calls, website inquiries, and messages
- Maintain a strong, organized schedule with minimal gaps
Insurance and Payments
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
- Explain deductibles, copays, and coverage clearly and respectfully
- Collect payments during check-in and check-out with accuracy and professionalism
Front Office Workflow
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and confidence
- Keep patient information accurate in Stride EMR and Google Workspace
- Communicate with therapists and support staff throughout the day to support smooth operations
Additional Support
- Assist with light marketing and social media tasks when needed
You Are a Strong Fit If You
- Have 1 to 2 years of experience in a front desk or patient care coordinator role
- Feel confident calling leads, guiding conversations, and scheduling new patients
- Can communicate clearly and with compassion, especially by phone
- Are comfortable multitasking phones, scheduling, patient interaction, and documentation
- Have EMR or EHR experience, Stride preferred
- Understand insurance verification and basic PT or healthcare terminology
- Are dependable, organized, and detail focused
- Spanish fluency is a plus, not required
Schedule, Pay, and Benefits

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- $20 to $25 per hour based on experience
