South Asian weddings are masterclasses in scale, culture, and high-end hospitality. We are seeking a visionary Luxury South Asian Wedding Designer who possesses a flawless aesthetic eye, deep cultural fluency, and the technical capability to turn grand, multi-layered concepts into awe-inspiring physical realities.

Role Description

As a Creative Director, you will oversee the creative vision and execution of events, ensuring all aspects align with the client’s unique preferences and our standards of excellence. Your daily tasks include developing creative strategies, managing branding and art direction, and working with design teams to create engaging visuals. You will also coordinate with clients and vendors to deliver a cohesive, innovative event experience. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Columbus, OH.

• Multi-Day Narrative & Concept Development: Transform our couples’ stories, regional customs, and contemporary styles into distinctive, top-tier design concepts for each wedding.
• Architectural & Spatial Transformation: Design and supervise the creation of custom structural pieces, such as avant-garde Mandaps, impactful Sangeet stages, custom bars, and immersive entryways. This includes producing detailed floor plans and 3D spatial visualizations.
• Cultural & Artistic Curation: Select, brief, and collaborate with leading creative partners—including luxury floral sculptors, structural fabricators, high-end draping and textiles specialists, and custom lighting engineers.
• Atmosphere & Lighting Direction: Work closely with AV teams to develop intricate, transformative lighting designs that can change a room's mood from a sacred morning ceremony to an energetic, late-night celebration.
• On-Site Art Direction: Act as the primary on-site authority during fast-paced, multi-day installations, ensuring every detail—from large floral arrangements to the exact placement of custom tables—is executed perfectly.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Creative Direction and Strategy to guide innovative event concepts and execution
• Experience in Branding and Art Direction to develop cohesive, impactful event themes and visuals
• Skills in Graphic Design to conceptualize and produce high-quality visual materials
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with teams and clients
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Formal education in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred)
• Previous experience in event management or a related creative industry is a plus
