Sewing Operator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and Duties:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Responsible for sewing fabric, flag, etc. products.
• Be able to finish daily sewing tasks in assigned time.
• Keep supervisor apprised of time required to complete projects as they are assigned.
• Check accuracy of job orders.
• Follow department’s standard operating procedure.
• Follow company’s policies and procedures.
• Checks goods (fabric product) and finish (sewing/grommet) following customer’s requirement.
• Confirm the product quality at receiving and finishing time.
• Verifies identification, quantity, and quality of product.
• Rejects damaged, excess or misdirected goods.
• Performs other tasks as required by team lead.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory role.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

• Entry level sewing experience required.
• Must be flexible with working schedule.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities proficiently.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Job will require lifting materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
