The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Data Scientist to help expand B2E's analytics, AI, and predictive marketing capabilities. This role combines data science, marketing analytics, and client strategy, requiring someone with a strong technical foundation and who can transform complex data into actionable business insights. This role will also contribute to client strategy, innovation, and product development.

Base Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000

Notes: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship). B2E also does not pay for relocation. We are looking for candidates located in the Des Moines Metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models for audience targeting, segmentation, and campaign performance.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to improve marketing outcomes.
• Explore and implement AI and emerging analytics capabilities.
• Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize performance.
• Design and maintain data pipelines across CRM, digital, and third-party data sources.
• Ensure data quality, scalability, and automation through tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, and R.
• Create dashboards and reporting that deliver actionable business insights.
• Support audience development, data enrichment, and marketing execution initiatives.
• Collaborate on new product development and data-driven solutions.
• Present complex findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or marketing data environments.
• Experience with marketing analytics, audience targeting, or campaign measurement.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python or R (Alteryx strongly preferred); predictive modeling; statistical analysis; and data integration.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, cloud-based data environments, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and project management skills. problem-solving mindset with interest in product development.
