What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Technician position at B2 Medical?
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with a team building and fabricating modular medical units
- Perform MIG welding and basic torch cutting (training provided if needed)
- Cut, measure, and assemble steel and aluminum framing components
- Install walls, flooring, doors, insulation, and interior finishes
- Support electrical and plumbing prep work
- Operate grinders, saws, drills, and fabrication tools
- Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
- Work alongside experienced fabricators to develop trade skills
- Deploy Medical Modulars to the field.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 1 years construction, shop, welding, or trade experience
- Basic welding or torch experience preferred (or strong willingness to learn)
- Interest in fabrication and working with metal
- Rigging or heavy machinery operators are a plus
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Additional Pay for Class A CDL
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
