What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller position at B2 Bank?
Essential Duties
1. Represents the Bank to customers in a courteous, professional manner and provides prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing transactions and answering questions in person and over the phone.
2. Follows all established policies and procedures including security, BSA/AML and other compliance regulations. Maintains teller differences and cash levels within established guidelines.
3. Maintains a basic level of product knowledge in order to promote the benefits of additional Bank services and make appropriate referrals.
4. Greet and assist customers while processing deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
5. Process requests for gift and travel cards, stop payments and wire requests.
6. Print and review daily reports.
- Assist with various monthly tasks to be completed by team of tellers, including but not limited to, new account letters, record retention, obituary reviews etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Intermediate knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations and Bank deposit policies and procedures.
- Must be very detailed and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of consumer and business deposit rules and regulations.
- Courteous social skills to welcome visitors.
