Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across various residential settings
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living spaces in accordance with health standards
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting or outdoor work
- Maintain floor care routines including sweeping, scrubbing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is preferred; janitorial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and sanitation practices
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and understanding specific household requirements
- A proactive attitude towards housekeeping management and attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning
