What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Accounting Assistant position at B & W Paving & Landscaping?
We are seeking a motivated candidate who possesses a strong work ethic who takes pride in a job well done. Individual must have excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
The position will include assistance with many aspects of the company’s accounting and construction projects. We are looking for an individual with a “little bit of everything”.
Position reports directly to the Controller.
Experience with Construction is a MUST. Sage 300, Acumatica, and Prevailing Wage certified payroll reporting is preferred but not required.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
General accounting - schedules, fixed assets, insurances, 401k Audit
General project related documentation -AIA, Subcontracts, Change Orders
Answering phones and emails from both internal and external individuals in a timely manner
Ensure proper filing of documentation in the appropriate electronic job folder.
Ability to research until you find the answer

Pay: From $20 - 32 per hour depending on experience level.
Salary is negotiable and based upon experience/qualifications.
