Making where we live a better place. At Woodard Group you will have an opportunity to join a growing team that works on dynamic projects throughout Southern California. We have a unique opportunity for a Land Surveyor to join our Survey Team in our Riverside, CA office.
Your Role:
As a Land Surveyor, you will be part of a survey team with a wide variety of projects spanning the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Completing tasks for a broad range of assignments requiring knowledge of surveying/mapping
- Performing parcel research using on-line resources
- Calculating record information for the analysis of boundary and easements
- Use of processing and drafting programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Processing field data and preparation of topographic maps
- Preparing legal descriptions and plats for property transfer and acquisition
- Providing support to field crews
- Collaborating with members of the survey team to deliver high level survey products
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in surveying
- Public mapping experience (subdivision maps, parcel maps, record of survey maps, legal description and exhibits, etc.)
- Experience in AutoCAD/Civil3D
- Experience reading and interpreting deeds
- Knowledge of fundamental boundary survey principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- LSIT Preferred
- BS Degree in Surveying/Geomatics or related discipline preferred
