Overview
The Busy Season is right around the corner. We are seeking a couple BAD JAWNS to work behind the bar. Ideally we would want them to be enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently serving drinks and food to our guests. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering is a plus, as well as proficiency with various Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Process transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, handling cash and credit card payments.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquets and special events.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest has an enjoyable experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in Toast POS systems is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or nightclubs.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is advantageous.
