Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Burlingame, CA starting April 2026. This is a part-time, temporary position (approximately 4 months) with the possibility of continued employment based on performance and clinic needs.
The ideal candidate has strong aesthetic judgment, excellent patient rapport, and confidence working independently in a high-end med spa setting. An existing client following is a plus, but not required. Hours are flexible.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aesthetic consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer a range of aesthetic treatments, including: Neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/Daxxify), dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, threads (PDO or similar), exosomes, PDRN
- Deliver treatments with a strong focus on safety, precision, and natural outcomes
- Educate patients on treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Build and maintain long-term patient relationships
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient clinic flow
- Adhere to all California regulations, clinical protocols, and practice standards
Qualifications
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license (required)
- 2 years of hands-on aesthetic experience
- Proven experience with injectables; experience with threads, microneedling, and chemical peels strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and aesthetic principles
- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
- Prior experience in a med spa, dermatology, or cosmetic practice preferred
- Existing clientele/following is a plus
