Role Description The Field Technician role at Béton LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Lake Charles, LA. The Field Technician will assist with concrete repair, structural upgrades, and application of coatings, linings, and protective systems at various project sites. Daily responsibilities include preparing work areas, mixing and applying materials, operating tools and equipment safely, and following project specifications and quality standards. The role involves working closely with supervisors and crew members, adhering to safety protocols, and accurately documenting work performed. The Field Technician may also support site cleanup, basic equipment maintenance, and loading or unloading materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Hands-on skills in concrete repair, surface preparation, and material application for structural upgrades and protective systems.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in field repair work.
- Knowledge of job site safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA or similar standards.
