This is a sales and customer-service position, not simply a front-desk role. Our associates build relationships with clients, educate them about tanning and skincare, recommend products and services, and help drive salon sales while providing an exceptional customer experience.

· Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

As a B-Tan team member, you will:

· Greet every client with a warm and welcoming attitude

· Provide knowledgeable and personalized customer service

· Explain tanning services, memberships, packages, products, and promotions

· Recommend products and services based on each client's individual needs

· Sell tanning packages, memberships, products, and services

· Earn commission on qualifying product sales

· Perform and learn professional spray tanning services

· Provide a comfortable and positive spray-tan experience for clients

· Earn tips from spray-tanning services

· Assist clients with scheduling, check-ins, payments, and account questions

· Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting salon environment

· Clean and prepare tanning rooms and equipment according to B-Tan standards

· Restock products and supplies

· Complete daily salon tasks and checklists

· Help create a positive experience for both new and returning clients

· Work as part of a team to meet salon sales and customer service goals

Schedule

We are looking for employees who want a consistent part-time position averaging approximately 20–25 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Hours may vary based on business needs and employee availability. Additional hours may be available during busier periods, through covering shifts, and for employees who are willing and able to work at multiple B-Tan locations. Full-time hours are not guaranteed.

Typical shifts include:

· 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

· 12:00 PM–7:00 PM

· 3:00 PM–9:00 PM

Weekend availability is required. Weekend shifts are scheduled based on business needs and distributed among the team as part of the overall scheduling process. Employees should be prepared to work weekends when scheduled, including the possibility of multiple weekends in a row when staffing needs require it.

Morning, evening, and some holiday availability may also be required.

Qualifications

· Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred

· Must be comfortable working in a sales-focused environment

· Must be comfortable learning and performing spray tanning services

· Must have basic computer skills

· Must be comfortable learning and discussing products and services

· Must be able to work in person

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform routine salon cleaning throughout a shift
