Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Manage cash handling with precision, including cashiers’ duties and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and appealing store layout
- Engage customers in retail sales by offering product recommendations and answering questions about merchandise
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
- Support inventory management by stocking new products and conducting regular stock checks
- Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts
