The Busser/Runner keeps service fast, clean, and seamless. You’ll reset tables, run food and beverages, stock stations, and support servers and bartenders so guests enjoy a polished, timely experience.
Key Responsibilities

Guest Support: Greet guests warmly; deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately; handle special requests and allergy notes per SOP.

Table Resets: Clear, sanitize, and reset tables to standard; maintain tidy dining and service areas.

Expo & Delivery: Coordinate with the expo/kitchen to ensure correct items, modifiers, and seat numbers; manage multi-plate carries and tray service safely.

Stock & Prep: Refill water, coffee, bread, condiments, and side stations; restock glassware, silverware, plates, and napkins; polish as needed.

Cleanliness & Safety: Follow food-safety and sanitation practices (handwashing, glove use, temp danger zone awareness); keep floors dry, aisles clear, and use wet-floor signs.

Teamwork & Communication: Relay guest needs to servers/bartenders; assist with large parties and events; support bar and dish as needed.

Closing/Side Work: Complete side work, trash removal, and breakdown/cleaning checklists; set up for the next shift.

Qualifications:

Prior busser/runner or restaurant experience preferred; will train reliable, guest-focused candidates.

Strong pace, organization, and attention to detail; clear communication and teamwork.

Ability to carry trays and multiple plates safely; basic menu knowledge (allergens and modifiers) a plus.

Food Handler certification preferred (or obtain within 30 days); responsible alcohol awareness if delivering drinks.
Physical Requirements

Stand/walk for entire shift; frequent bending, reaching, and stair use.

Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40–50 lbs (trays, racks, supplies).

Work in a fast-paced environment and around cleaning/sanitizing chemicals (PPE provided).
