What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at B'nai Torah Congregation of Boca Raton?
B’nai Torah Congregation of Boca Raton, a large conservative Synagogue, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist
The applicant will be required to handle all accounts payable duties. The applicant must be able to input transactions, process payments, prepare journal entries, reconcile vendor accounts, issue 1099’s and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
Applicant will also handle the purchasing and ordering of supplies and equipment and leased office equipment.
Applicant must have good verbal and communication skills. Applicant must be detailed orientated.
Must have extensive experience working with QuickBooks.
Must be able to take direction and work well with B’nai Torah staff and department heads.
Knowledge of Excel is essential.
College degree preferred but not a requirement.
Preferred Experience: 5 Years’ Experience
