Fitter welder

B&M Metalworks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our growing fabrication team. We build custom structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects for commercial and industrial customers. We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality work and wants to be part of a dependable team.

• Monday–Thursday
• 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Overtime available as needed

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Fit, tack, and weld assemblies to print.
• Measure, layout, and verify dimensions.
• Operate grinders, saws, drills, and fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Produce quality work while meeting production deadlines.

• Previous welder/fitter experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong MIG welding skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

• Structural steel fabrication experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes.
