Compliance Officer Job Description:
- Maintain tracking data and complete required compliance reporting and internal benchmarking as well as risk assessment
- Work with Directors and Senior Leadership regarding Policies and Procedures
- Study and stay up to date on laws and changes applicable to HR & Department of Developmental Disabilities Field
- Working together as a team with all staff to help ensure quality of service.
- Conducting internal compliance reviews
- Following up on and reviewing QA's, Monthly paperwork and Financials for accuracy
- Completing tasks for compliance.
- Conducting site visits and auditing books

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- High School Diploma/GED
- Drivers License and Car Insurance
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Experience and or familiarity in working and supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communications, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a ever-changing environment
- Experience in MS Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement in sensitive situations
