What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver II position at B&L Bolt Inc, a Colony division?
A Little About Your Day:
- From day to day, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of merchandise in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- You will load your truck (a flatbed) and secure it with strapping to ensure safe delivery to customer jobsites.
- You will safely operate a truck-mounted forklift to load/unload building supplies and materials, such as rebar, erosion control items, and more.
- Operating with a strong attention to detail, you will perform your pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure your safety.
- You will check in frequently with the customer to announce arrival, collect payments from customers, and ensure all signatures are received.

What You’ll Need for Success:
- A minimum of 3 years of prior driving experience and deliveries.
- Experience driving flatbeds experience strongly preferred.
- You must be 21 years of age or older.
- A valid driver’s license with a sustained record of safe driving.
- A Commercial Driver’s License B.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
