Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering appliances to customer locations, performing professional installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Your expertise in appliance repair, electrical work, plumbing, and mechanical systems will be essential to providing seamless setup and troubleshooting support. Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver appliances to residential or commercial sites.
• Unload appliances carefully using appropriate hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Install appliances by connecting electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components following schematics and technical instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues during installation or post-delivery, diagnosing problems related to refrigeration, electrical systems, or mechanical parts.
• Use ladder work and other access equipment safely to reach installation sites at various heights or hard-to-reach areas.
• Conduct thorough inspections of appliances post-installation to ensure proper operation and customer satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and addressing any concerns professionally.
• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and operational checks on appliances as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Document all delivery and installation activities accurately in company systems for recordkeeping and quality assurance purposes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in appliance delivery, installation, or field service roles involving box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, electrical work, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with schematics, ladder use, electrical experience, power tools, hand tools, and equipment troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), or equipment repair in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer service background demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills during on-site interactions.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently while following all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring standards, plumbing connections, and appliance installation best practices is highly desirable.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
