Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on molds
- Identify wear or damage and communicate needed repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production needs by ensuring molds are in proper working condition
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude or background preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills through hands-on training
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated
- Proven experience as a Mold Mechanic or similar role within a manufacturing or injection molding environment.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of mold components, materials, and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
