CNC Mill Machinist (3-Axis & 5-Axis)
B&J Specialty is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating, setting up, and programming 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components while maintaining strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and program CNC milling machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Program machines using CAM software
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Familiarity with Okuma, HAAS, and YCM machines preferred
- Strong CNC programming and CAM software knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
1st shift, 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday
