- This person will be responsible for the day-to-day light building maintenance and daily monitoring of janitorial supplies in all areas and replenishing as needed.
- Assembly of office furniture.
- Patching holes and painting as needed.
- Daily walkthrough of all locations looking for anything that needs to be fixed and/or replaced.
- Perform routine cleaning and organization of the warehouse including, but not limited to; sweeping, parking lot cleanliness, trash removal and any other cleaning responsibilities as needed.
- Run smaller deliveries or pick-ups as needed.
- Report all warehouse protocol violations to manager immediately.
- Report any building maintenance or building safety concerns to the warehouse manager immediately.
- Cross train in all aspects of warehouse to qualify as a backup as needed.
- Assist in receiving incoming shipments.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of B & I delivery trucks.
- Assist in putting stock and incoming shipments away in the designated areas.
- Assist in stock pulls needed.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Three (3) years of experience in Facility Maintenance.
- Must possess basic construction, carpentry and drywall skills.
- Must have basic knowledge of the use of common power tools.
- Must have a Valid Florida Driver’s License.
- This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
