Position Summary
The Property Operations Support Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across B.HOM's student housing portfolio. This position partners with Operations leaders to analyze property performance, support strategic initiatives, implement operational improvements, and ensure consistent execution of company standards. The ideal candidate thrives on solving problems, managing projects, analyzing data, and improving processes that help communities and teams perform at their highest level.
What You'll Do
Operations Performance & Analytics
- Conduct weekly operational reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Analyze operational and financial data to support portfolio performance and asset optimization
- Develop recommendations that improve operational efficiency and client returns
- Monitor key performance indicators and communicate actionable insights to leadership
Project Management
- Lead and coordinate company-wide operational initiatives from planning through implementation
- Develop project plans, monitor timelines, and ensure key milestones are achieved
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful project execution
Process Improvement
- Assist in developing, documenting, and improving operational policies and procedures
- Create presentations, training materials, job aids, and operational documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve consistency across the portfolio
- Support implementation of operational best practices
Systems & Technology
- Support implementation of new systems, software, and operational tools
- Serve as a subject matter resource for Entrata and operational processes
- Assist with system enhancements, testing, and user support
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve technology adoption
Collaboration & Support
- Serve as a liaison between Operations, Property Management, and Corporate departments
- Respond to operational inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures
- Build strong partnerships with field leaders and support teams
- Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of student housing, multifamily, or related property management experience
- Experience using Entrata property management software
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing projects with multiple deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-site property operations
- Experience developing training materials, operational documentation, or process guides
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field
- Experience leading operational improvement initiatives
Work Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Standard business hours with flexibility to support operational priorities
- Occasional travel to property locations may be required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and in writing
- Occasional standing, walking, and travel to support field operations
