As an EMS Instructor, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating high-quality training programs for students pursuing a career in emergency medical services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective classroom and practical training programs to students, ensuring they are aligned with current industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of students' progress and provide feedback on their performance to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Collaborate with other instructors, staff, and industry professionals to continually improve the quality and relevance of our training programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technological advancements in EMS, and incorporate them into our training programs as appropriate.
- Ensure a safe learning environment for all students, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress, attendance, and other relevant data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as open houses and career fairs, to promote our programs and recruit potential students.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of EMS best practices, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Proficient in the use of instructional technology, such as learning management systems and e-learning tools.
