Job: Frame Welder
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday. Overtime as assigned. $2000 sign on bonus!
Job summary: This position will weld steel frames for our utility bodies, must be able to hardwire and core-weld on mild steel using blueprints and technical diagrams You are responsible for setting up welding equipment, handling materials, reading and interpreting blueprints to understand the product's specifications; and inspecting your work for accuracy and quality. Our perfect candidate has at least three years’ experience of welding and fabrication, is or has been certified in Core Welding, and can work independently.
Responsibilities: Set up welding equipment and tools. Review blueprints for specifications. Cut, grind, modify, and weld materials to fabricate frames. Finish and inspect products for quality. Must be certified in Core welding. Push-pull aluminum welding experience is a plus. Performs other duties as assigned
Physical requirements: High school diploma or GED certificate, completion of welding training or apprenticeship preferred. 3 years of welding experience and flux core certification desired. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Attention to detail.
