Job: Final Assembly- FT Days
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday. Overtime as assigned on Friday.
Job summary: Assemblers perform tasks that are necessary to the production process. They aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.
Responsibilities: Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Skills: Good communication skills. Excellent eye-hand coordination. Teamwork. Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Focus that job is completed correctly.
Physical requirements: May have to lift-up to 50 lbs.
