Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to ensure precise application according to project specifications
- Support rebar installation and concrete formwork construction to reinforce structures effectively
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as caulking, stucco application, plastering, and concrete cutting
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling to support the movement of construction supplies and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure job site environment
- Support the installation of heavy-duty components like concrete pumping systems and rebar frameworks for structural integrity
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment, and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, pouring, and cutting techniques
- Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete pumping is highly desirable
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation is a plus
