Role Description
This opportunity is for our Southwest Mississippi market. The Sales Account Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts for our Hitachi construction equipment line. On a day-to-day basis, this role includes engaging with customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings, understanding their equipment needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. The Sales Account Manager will generate and qualify leads, prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and ensure smooth coordination with internal teams for order fulfillment and after-sales support. This role also includes monitoring customer satisfaction, resolving issues to support long-term relationships and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Account Management and Customer Satisfaction, with experience building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, including clear, professional written and verbal interaction with diverse customer groups.
- Experience with Lead Generation and basic sales pipeline management, including prospecting, follow-up, and opportunity tracking.
- Familiarity with logging, construction, or heavy equipment industries is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple accounts and tasks.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites or company locations.
- Applicant must live within sales territory.
