B&G Automated Inc. is looking for a skilled Industrial Controls Electrician to join our team in Fountain Valley, CA. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical control systems and automation equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints
- Program, configure, and service PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
- Wire control panels, junction boxes, and field instrumentation per NEC standards
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime in production environments
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on automation projects and system upgrades
Requirements
- Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license
- 3 years of experience in industrial electrical or controls work
- EMT/Rigid Conduit Layout/Bending (Manual and Electric Benders)
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and industrial wiring standards
- Experience with VFDs, servo drives, and motor control circuits
- Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in a safety-first environment
- Must be able to pass a drug test (random)
- Overtime Will Be Required (Inc. after-hours service calls, project crunch times, allotted company downtimes)
- Some Travel in USA and International required (Normally a few times a year)
