What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Technicians position at B&E's Taphaus Cleaning?
About Us:
B&E’s Taphaus Cleaning is a family owned and operated business based in Edgerton, WI. We clean, service, maintain, and install beer tap lines and systems throughout central and southern Wisconsin. Our main customers are bars/restaurants, venues, and breweries including world famous ones such as New Glarus, Lake Louie, and Wisconsin Brewing. Our small team has a reputation for reliable and trustworthy service and is growing! We currently have part-time to full-time hours available, with shifts generally starting at 5am. 3rd shift styled schedule may be available as we continue to grow.
About You:
Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in beer line cleaning. They will be mechanically inclined, reliable, a good communicator, organized, and have basic problem-solving skills. Any candidate must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, reliable vehicle, and live within 1 hour of Madison. People with a plumbing background or understanding historically do well with us. We are willing to train the right person.
Day-to-Day:
Your day starts when you step out your door and clock in (you’re on the clock heading to the first account of the day). Most technicians leave around 5am as many of our customers need us there early. You will drive to pre-assigned accounts, and clean various tap system lines and components. After cleaning the lines, you will ensure the tap system is functioning properly. The average day may have 4-6 stops though this can vary based on day/account size. Technicians log their time at each account and communicate any concerns with customers and management.
