We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and systems in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and safety procedures.
- Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial sites while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installation and repair tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to install electrical systems according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage systems in industrial settings.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and inspection reports.
Skills
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading for accurate installation or repair work.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Experience working with high-voltage wiring safely on construction sites or industrial facilities.
- Strong understanding of low voltage wiring systems used in commercial applications.
- Familiarity with construction site experience including renovation projects and framing carpentry is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout practices to prevent accidents during maintenance work.
- Handyman skills such as basic frame carpentry or general construction experience are advantageous for versatile project support.
