Seeking experienced 1st Class Fluxcore Welders for a marine repair yard in Fourchon, LA. Candidates must have strong FCAW welding skills and experience performing structural welding on marine vessels and steel components.
Must-Haves
3 years of Fluxcore welding experience in a shipyard or marine environment
Proficient in FCAW welding in multiple positions
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Experience welding carbon steel and structural components
Ability to pass a hands-on welding test
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Preferred
Previous marine repair yard experience
Experience working on barges, tugs, and offshore vessels
Experience with structural repairs and modifications
Ability to work independently and with a team
