Responsibilities What you get to do every day: * Senior database administrator with experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services.
- Managing/Senior Principal Consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise. * Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology. * Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows. * Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. * Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning. * Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations. Qualifications Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI with FS poly **This position is not open for any clearance upgrades or sponsorship.** Education/Experience: * Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience * 10 years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle's database (10 - current). Required Skills: * Support for 24x7 production database environment. After-hours call in support be necessary when scheduled. * Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning. * Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
