B&C Care System Inc. is seeking an attentive and trustworthy Male/ Female Personal Care Assistant that can work a fixed schedule. This position requires someone who is able to travel between clients when needed. As a PCA you may be asked to see more than one client a day. B&C Care System Inc. interested applicants should be patient, communicative, reliable, have strong interpersonal skills, willing to learn, and be committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable.
Qualifications:
- TB test (annually)
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass NC Health Care Personnel Registry check
- Ability to pass Criminal background check
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Communicative/ Able to inform office staff of any issues
- Ability to lift more than 30 lbs (if required for client)
- Reliable
- Flexible
- Work weekends (when needed)
- Ability to travel between clients
- Ability to travel between cities
- Comfortable working in a home base setting
Duties:
- Provide services in accordance with the patients plan of care.
- Provide for the personal needs and comfort of the patient
- Offer compassionate care/companionship to the patient
- Limited help with prescribed exercises
- Assistance with ADL and IADL
- Assist with ambulation ( transferring client )
- Assist with self-medications (reminding client to take their medication)
- Performs Light household duties
- Meal preparation
