Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and overhaul complex mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and air brake systems on various vehicle types.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently and precisely.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues on diesel engines, heavy equipment mechanics, and GM vehicles.
- Lead the repair of automotive electrical systems and auto body components while adhering to dealership standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair industry practices.
- Extensive knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), engine repair, transmissions, and automotive suspension system repair.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and powertrain repair techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools effectively.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto body repair processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
