Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to client, including grooming, bathing, and dressing.
- Administer medication and monitor client health status as directed.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document and report changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations and policies.
- Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer, Sundowners. Knowing how to calm a fearful client by having a calm demeaner.
- PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST-CLIENT TENDS TO WANDER AND CANNOT BE LEFT ALONE
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving is a plus.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
