This position is responsible for process troubleshooting, running DOE's, ETR's, leading and assisting with projects, as well as performing product validations on extrusion production lines and possibly injection molding machines.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for process troubleshooting, running DOE's, ETR's, leading and assisting with projects, as well as performing product validations on extrusion production lines and possibly injection molding machines.
Preferred: Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor of Science - Plastic and Polymer Engineering
- Experience with plastic part design
- Experience with extrusion and injection mold design and working with outside vendors
- Knowledge of Mold Shop manufacturing processes to be able to apply them to existing and development projects
- 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks software experience
- CAD/CAM Software experience.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair or improve products, components or assemblies.
- Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.
- Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.
- Designs and drafts blueprints with designer, visits systems in the field and manages projects.
- Must be SME in field at higher levels of job.
- Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.

- Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
- Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

- Bachelor's degree (B.S. Engineering)
- 2-3 years related experience
- Domestic travel with the remote possibility of International travel.
