B&B Training Solutions delivers high-energy, coach-led after-school and weekend enrichment across Washington State. We serve grades K–8 with safe, inclusive programs that build skills, confidence, and character.
What You’ll Teach (one or more areas)
Cooking with Kids * Outdoor/Scout-style Survival Skills * STEM/STEAM * Art & Mixed Media * Chess & Checkers * Yoga & Mindfulness * Nature/Environmental Explorers * Tutoring & Homework Club * (Optional) Sports: Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, etc.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging 60–90 minute classes (lesson prep, delivery, and positive behavior management).
- Create simple, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned to outcomes and safety standards.
- Set up/clean up; manage materials and attendance; ensure a tidy, safe space.
- Communicate with site staff and families; report incidents per policy.
- Support diverse learners; model respect, inclusion, and sportsmanship.
- Drive between sites as scheduled.
Qualifications
- 6 months experience working with youth (camp, classroom, childcare, coaching, or tutoring).
- Subject-matter proficiency in at least one focus area above.
- Reliable, professional, and on time; strong classroom management.
- Comfortable lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs; can stand/move for class duration.
- Availability: Weekdays or Weekends 2:00–6:00 PM (some mornings/evenings/weekends).
- Requirements: Background check; CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Bonus: Teaching credential, BA/AA in related field, or prior after-school experience.
Schedule & Locations
Bellingham school-site or our Belligham Building site . 2–5 shifts/week during the school year; optional camps on breaks.
Compensation & Perks
- $45–$60/hour DOE and subject area; paid training & curriculum; flexible scheduling.
- Growth path to Lead Instructor/Program Coordinator.
