Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Kitchen Manager at our location in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Kitchen Manager will oversee food preparation and cooking, ensure food quality standards are met, and manage day-to-day kitchen operations. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, managing inventory and supplies, optimizing workflow, and coordinating with other restaurant team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
General Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of previous hospitality or restaurant management experience is required.
- Proven expertise in food preparation and cooking to deliver high-standard meals in a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food & beverage operations, with a focus on food quality and safety protocols.
- Experience in culinary management, including staff supervision and workflow optimization.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet operational demands effectively.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills to manage a team and ensure customer satisfaction.
