Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Roustabout to join our dynamic oil and gas operations team. In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in supporting the safe and efficient operation of oil rigs and related facilities. Your hands-on skills will help maintain equipment, assist with rigging and pipeline tasks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to energy production while developing your mechanical and operational expertise.

Duties

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines, pumping systems, and drilling equipment on oil rigs and construction sites
• Support rigging operations by setting up and securing equipment using, backhoes, forklifts, skid steer and other machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pumps, pumping systems, and other operational equipment to minimize downtime
• Manage equipment inspections, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection
• Support crew management activities by coordinating tasks with team members and maintaining a safe work environment in outdoor conditions
• Follow all safety protocols strictly while working on construction sites or oil & gas facilities, including proper PPE use and adherence to OSHA regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience working outdoors in oil & gas or construction environments
• Mechanical knowledge related to pumps, pumping systems, and general equipment operation
• Valid driving license with experience
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively under pressure
• Familiarity with rigging techniques, pipeline installation, and safety procedures on oil rigs or construction sites
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements for hazardous outdoor work environments
• Experience operating machinery
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and following detailed instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
