The Accounting / Office Associate, reports to Owners and Financial Manager, provides comprehensive accounting support for our fast pace growing organization.
Responsibilities:
· Accounts Receivable - Includes but not limited to: creating and sending invoices and statements, tracking product shipped to contracted amount, collections (contacting companies with past due balances). Receiving payments and making appropriate bank deposits. Works with appropriate people when discrepancies and issues occur to resolve.
· Accounts Payable – including but not limited to: ensuring appropriate authorizations and documentation, ensuring accurate account coding, payments to vendors, reviewing, allocating and posting monthly credit card expense transactions. Works with uniform company resolving missing items and billing issues. Send Year end 1099's
·Assist with placing supply orders
Assist with answering phones
Filling and scanning documents
· Other duties as assigned
Work Hours:
· Monday – Friday approximately 7:30am to 3:30pm
Required Qualifications
· 3 year of experience in an accounting position
· Working knowledge of MS Office, intermediate level skills desired
· Experience with Quickbooks
· Results driven, thorough and highly organized while managing large volume of documents
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
· Ability to deal with simultaneous tasks and priorities through outstanding time management skills
· Strong entrepreneurial spirt and resourceful that spurs innovation and problem solving.

· Responsible for keeping their computer updated with information and maintaining their computer and printer in good working condition.
· Responsible for achieving and maintaining superior housekeeping standards, keeping area free of dust and clutter as much as possible. This includes but is not limited to the scale house, the computer and printer. Cleaning of office as needed
· Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed or assigned
· Answer business phone and provide superior customer service
· Ability to multitask
Education
· Associates Degree with 3 years of work experience
Work Requirements
· Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
· Display a professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors and the general public
· Demonstrated proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel & Word is required

· Be able to use basic arithmetic, a calculator and knowledge of cash handling procedures.
· Responsible for the accuracy of all entries on scale tickets.
Physical Requirements
· Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
· May require sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
· Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus.
· Able to move/carry up to 25 lbs.
