Responsibilities

• Assist with menu planning and meal preparation to ensure timely and appealing food offerings
• Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and safety guidelines
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Support catering events or special dining occasions with food setup and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience for all guests or residents

Skills

• Prior dietary department experience or dietary aide experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Experience in menu planning and meal assembly in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with fine dining standards and food presentation skills
• Proficiency in food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
• Restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating excellent food service skills
• Ability to work efficiently with knife skills, culinary techniques, and catering support tasks
