Bartender – Neighborhood Dive Bar

We’re looking for a bartender who understands that a true dive bar is more than just drinks — it’s community. Our regulars become close friends, our coworkers become family, and every shift comes with stories you won’t hear anywhere else. It isn’t always polished, but it’s always real.
This is a fast-paced, cash-only neighborhood bar with a laid-back atmosphere, strong personalities, loyal customers, and a team that looks out for each other. If you can pour a solid drink, handle a busy crowd with confidence, and genuinely enjoy people, you’ll fit right in.
Responsibilities
- Serve beer, shots, and simple cocktails efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash transactions and maintain an organized drawer
- Create a welcoming environment for regulars and newcomers alike
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, tables, and work areas
- Check IDs and follow responsible alcohol service practices
- Handle busy nights, difficult situations, and strong personalities professionally
- Work as part of a close-knit team to keep the bar running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Bartending experience preferred, but personality and work ethic matter most
- Comfortable in a casual, no-frills environment
- Able to multitask and stay calm during busy shifts
- Strong people skills and sense of humor
- Reliable, honest, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a cash-only setting
- Knowledge of basic cocktails (our “complicated” drink is a Long Island)
