Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional transportation services to passengers.
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and luggage handling when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal condition.
- Use GPS and navigation tools to determine the most efficient routes and avoid delays.
- Collect fares accurately, issue receipts, and manage cash or electronic payments securely.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers or central offices to coordinate pickups and drop-offs.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or bus driving is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; specific experience with Limousine or
driver certifications is a plus. - Ability to handle various driving conditions confidently, including Paratransit or other specialized transportation needs.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to driving large vehicles or specialized transport modes.
