What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Clerk / CDL Driver position at B and D Foods?
Our Warehouse Clerk / CDL Driver is responsible for shipping and receiving product, verifying counts and labeling of product, ensuring record keeping and inventories, driving forklifts, putting loads together and maintaining the warehouse equipment. Driving local shuttle and tractor plus running dump trucks to the land fill. Shift will require weekend work as needed. This is for day shift.
Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible to load and unload trucks.
- Responsible to load and unload trucks.
- Verifying counts.
- Driving Forklift.
- Supplying materials to production lines.
- Keeping records.
- Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance and cleaning on the forklift or other equipment.
- Know and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.
Desired Background/Experience:
CDL driver with least 2 years experience and clean driving record, 2 years forklift experience, able to lift 50 lbs, experience in inventory and record keeping. Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. High School Diploma or GED.
