- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles and select appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans following established protocols and guidelines.
- Complete documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner for patient and staff safety.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold quality patient care.
- Achieve assigned goals effectively.
- Minimum six months of experience in the specialty area to meet MRI competencies.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R), with preferred ARRT(MR) registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; new graduates must obtain registry within 60 days.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- State licensure as applicable.
