Radiologic Technologist

Role Overview

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography and CT scans, accurately and efficiently according to established standards. They operate imaging equipment, review exam indications, and ensure proper data reporting for radiologist interpretation. Additionally, they utilize systems like PACS, RIS, HIS, and EMR for data management, archiving images, and maintaining documentation. The role involves mentoring staff and students, adhering to safety, quality, and legal standards, and supporting department policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Initiate appropriate interventions based on exam findings.
• Review and report on exam indications and data accuracy.
• Manage imaging data and ensure proper storage and transmission.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT Certification required within 60 days of employment.
• Excellent communication, visual acuity, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
