PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides specialized care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, ethical, and legal standards.
• Work two days per week onsite, with potential for additional shifts, in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  
  

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine. The role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Farwell, TX, prior to starting.
