Role: PICU Registered Nurse
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care for critically ill infants and children in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, manage high-acuity treatments, and deliver complex ventilator and medication therapy. Respond rapidly to clinical emergencies and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized care plans.

Provide compassionate, evidence-based care for critically ill infants and children in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, manage high-acuity treatments, and deliver complex ventilator and medication therapy. Respond rapidly to clinical emergencies and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized care plans.
Key Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments and monitor rapidly changing patient conditions
- Manage ventilator support and complex medication therapies
- Provide emergency response and stabilize critically ill pediatric patients
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans and communicate effectively with teams
- Educate and support patients’ families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards
- Active RN licensure and strong PICU experience/competence in pediatric critical care
- Proficiency in high-acuity monitoring, ventilator management, and medication administration
- Strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment, and emergency response skills
- Effective communication, teamwork, and patient/family education abilities
- Commitment to documentation accuracy, infection prevention, and safety
